Dead Parties is the project of Australian musician Etienne Mamo, who has been based in Barcelona for over 10 years. Very active on the Barcelona music scene, they play high-quality, guitar-driven psychedelic pop-rock with shoegaze influences and carefully crafted melodies. Following in the footsteps of 'Friction Machine', their latest EP, and after appearing on the soundtrack of the Australian TV series ‘Reckless,’ Dead Parties are back with a new preview of their upcoming full-length album. Etienne and his drummer, Antonio Dorado, have been working at Flower Canyon Studios to record their second album, and 'Come Back To Me' is the first single from it.
First preview of the new LP
Written and recorded in Barcelona in 2026, 'Come Back To Me' is a reflection on life’s many adventures —its highs and lows— and the youthful dreamer you’ve left behind, who’s calling out to be heard. Both sentimental and revealing, a sea of acoustic guitars sets the tone before the playful melody of the lead guitar enters the scene, taking us on a nostalgic journey through past states.
Performance at Casa Sidral
Dead Parties will be performing their new single on Saturday, June 13, at Casa Sidral (36 Sant Eusebi Street, Barcelona), the new go-to spot for fans of the psychedelic pop-rock scene.
The event will begin at 12 p.m. and feature an acoustic set, with top-notch DJs invited: Edu Lázaro, Paula Caramelos, and Alonsoul.
