Delay Lamas
Delay Lamas is a new garage rock project led by Jason Jeans, an Italian guitarist and singer based in Barcelona. Emerging in 2023, they are arguably Barcelona’s most authentic band, championing an irreverent "Freak-Beat" sound rooted in garage, rhythm and blues, and unbridled, fun-loving psychedelic rock.
While incorporating elements of punk, glam, and more eccentric rock styles, the band evolved from its 2023 inception to its current lineup —featuring Elisenda Amartis and Ander López— establishing itself as a mini "supergroup." Its members are veterans of Barcelona’s neo-psychedelic and 60s-revival scenes, boasting decades of experience and previous releases with projects such as Sitrama, Postlúdic Manifesto, Jinko Vilova, La Quiero Viva, and Heden StarTrip.
Debut single on Flower Canyon
Their debut single —a preview of an LP due in 2027— will be released digitally in October 2026 via Flower Canyon Recordings. It features a double A-side: "Boogie Man" and "Shake My Groove". These are two energetic Freak-Beat tracks that could easily sit alongside the songs on the legendary 60s garage compilation "Nuggets". Expect pure, unapologetic attitude, upbeat and direct melodies, and uninhibited innocence.
The new songs were recorded in January 2026 at the Flower Canyon label's studio in La Floresta (Sant Cugat del Vallès) by Narcís Passolas (mixing) and The Leb Trip (mastering).
